        2. Dinesh I am sorry I misspelled your name. It is hard to get foreign names right I think I got it now.

Are you the director of the organization?

How many years has your organization been in existence?

        3. Yes you got it right 🙂 you can call me Din and Thanks for your interest in knowing about Propel Steps.

I am the Founder of Propel Steps, which I started as a part time organization in 2011 while I was working as an HR consultant and Trainer. Since Jan 2013, I am into this full time.

What Propel Steps does is “Educating” on a precise note. To explain further a little, we focus on bringing various social changes and individual excellence via educating students here in India. We have some principles and value systems and based on it we train students, parents and enable schools specially in rural backdrops. As of now, we are doing it in a very small scale.

I and a few volunteers are now conducting a training program called SEI (means “To Do”) for school kids. We are enabling kids to find their passion, ways to achieve it, likewise it goes around the pursuit of their interests and we give them the connection points on “how their passion and education is related to the societal growth”. We aim at reaching 50,000 students and enable their Vision by 2014. Afterwards we will expand our operations on a larger scale.

Additionally I am blogging well you can see it here and I am writing a book.

I wish to do my HR consulting work too and planned to establish a Remote HR outsourcing organization to employ graduates from nearby rural places… 🙂 (may look like I am trying to do so many things 🙂 but I believe my intuitions) Just kept this HR part on hold as I need to establish Propel Steps first. So focusing on Propel Steps now.

My Dreams and Visions are big and planned. Luckily I have the challenges of lack of financial freedom to fight with 🙂 Just like many entrepreneurs from middle economy family, I do have the familiar odds. I am on the pursuit of my ambitions by enabling others.

So, this could be the short bio of Din and Propel Steps :). Hopefully someday I will make it big and do the maximum to the world by fulfilling my purpose of existence.

OMG I have written a lot! 🙂 Please do not mind, I am kind of a talkative person, love to interact and listen. Hope I do not bother you by this lengthy reply.

          Regards

        4. No, you do not bother me Din. I asked and because I asked, I wanted to know the answers.

Quite the contrary, thank you for explaining to me so I understand about Propel Steps and also about your goals.

I am the former CEO Founder of The Epilepsy Connection. I helped people in Orange County, CA, Los Angeles and about 350 other clients nationwide and in 3 other countries.

I still am a disability advocate, though not working directly with that now. I had to divorce in 2001, which altered my plans.

Epilepsy, helping empower others and being a role model, mentor and helping others bring out their hidden potential is something I do really well.

We have a lot in common.

        6. That is wonderful Din. I am honored you are honored to interact and learn from me. Mentoring is something I will be writing about as well as writing, on an article I was asked to write that will be seen all over the world recently. That is one of the reasons the theme on Totally Inspired Mind is about “mentoring.”
