This Sloth Bear recently befriended them in Lakhapada village in India. The bear was never domesticated, however surprisingly chose to bond with the family. Now it has become more than a pet, a member of the family.
Sloth Bears can be very aggressive and deadly, but not in his case. This adorable male bear followed the family’s heard of goats to their home. After he discovered the family they formed an immediate bond. It is luck to the family as well as the bear not to attack one another on first sight. That’s how miracle happens 🙂
“Awright mate, any chance of a lift to the North Pole?”
“You’re not going that way? Why not? I need to get there”.
“Look, I am going to sit here until you open the door…”
“I have a plan…”
“…I’ll just get in the back seat instead!”
“Here we go!”
“On second thoughts, I could actually do with a walk. See you later!”
“This cheeky polar bear tried to hitch a lift off an unsuspecting driver by clambering into the back of his pick-up truck. The curious creature spent about half an hour inspecting the vehicle and its owner before casually trying to climb aboard. However, the truck must not have been up to scratch because the 7ft bear, weighing approximately 300lbs, promptly jumped back out and sauntered off.
This amazing sequence of events took place Barter Island in the eastern Alaskan Arctic and according photographer Steve Kazlowski, who has been photographing polar bears for the last 15 years, this kind of behavior is not that unusual. Polar bears are a threatened species and one of the main risks for them in the Alaskan arctic is the loss of sea ice as a habitat”.

Note: Since this is just an average life expectancy, no doubt you will always have some exceptions. You will definitely have a few animals exceeding their life span.
Some animals life span might seem very short while others are reasonably long when compared to other animal species. However, the average life expectancy of a given animal is determined by factors such as genetic makeup, metabolic rate, body size, age of sexual maturity etc. It is important to note also that some domesticated animal can live longer or shorter than if they were living in their natural environment (habitat). The reason for this may due to conditions such as new lifestyle, change of diet, disease, predator (absent), etc. Therefore, in spite of the fact that many of these values given in the list below are based on the records taken from various sources, it should not be seen as the absolute maximum lifespan.
