Blank Space welcomes… Ruchi Chopra

RUCHI22Ruchi is an Akshaya Patra of smiles and positive energy 🙂 Right from the very first interaction via blogs, she has given us a lot of cheers and thumbs up than anyone else. The special thing about her is she just not keep the positive attitude with her but also spreads it to you. I wonder how she manages to share time to all sincerely, be it a little kind act of sharing her encouraging comments for blog posts, or any discussions, she rarely missed to give a pat on shoulders. If you knew her already, you must be synonymous about her.

Her Story for Blank Space: ‘Heart of Stone’ is a ‘close to heart’ story that she wrote for her daughters to make them understand the values of persistence & patience in life. She has given life to a stone in this story and let us live alongside with it. Most of us will get tired or feel given up hope at times, but she instills us to have a heart of the stone to come out successful.

Blank Space welcomes : Preethi Venugopal

Preethi Venugopal

A compassionate human being and a concerned sister, whom I got to know via blogging. Preethi Venugopal is a civil engineer by profession and a blogger and artist by passion. She loves books and creates beautiful things by recycling used materials. After a decade working in many prestigious Civil Engineering works, she has taken a sabbatical from work to become a full-time mom. She loves to dabble in fiction, poetry and art on her blog www.tulipsandme.blogspot.in.

Unveiling The Ghost Editor 🙂 Preethi started supporting us as an Editor, along with Barun, however, she had begun in incognito mode. Now we wish to surprise her friends and everyone by unveiling that she was the one who had fine tuned their stories to perfection as an editor. She puts herself on the shoes of the readers as well as the writers, while editing the stories and that’s the secret of her work, which got her appreciations from many contributing authors of Blank Space.

Her Story for Blank Space : Eternal Love

She has also penned a story for Blank Space, “Eternal Love”- a Beautiful and an Inspiring love story, which talks about values like understanding, trust and faith, one should have in any successful relationship. This is especially for teens in our society who get confused about love and what true love is all about. The poetic love story speaks about how love travels beyond the perception of human awareness. Many of us call Love “Eternal” But why? Preethi’s story has the answers…

Her Works : She is a published author who made her debut in the anthology ‘The Second Life’ by Write India Publishers. (Buy a copy here). She has also won many blogging contests.

We wish her all the best for her works and future endeavours 🙂 – Team – Propel Steps.

Story : 55 Fiction : Serial Killer

serial killerMosquitoes’ hissing pierced the silence of the parking lot.

Lisa tiptoed towards her car thinking “Night shows? Not anymore!”

She clutched the door to open.

The power went off.

A red eyed machete man approached her from behind slowly…

He grabbed the remote from his mother “I want to watch IPL” and killed the serial!

Story : 55 Fiction : Don’t Fight!

Squabble

They sneaked through the blanket as the echoes of their squabble had woken up them.

“They tell us ‘Don’t fight!’, but why they always fight?” little Kayal hazily asked.

“Because no one is there to tell them ‘Don’t fight!’” twin Kalyan continued “That’s why they left Grandpa and Grandma!”

Suddenly the echoes dropped to silence!
