Documentary : Know : Peru

PeruPeru – officially the Republic of Peru, is a country in western South America. It is bordered in the north byEcuador and Colombia, in the east by Brazil, in the southeast by Bolivia, in the south by Chile, and in the west by thePacific Ocean. Peru is an extremely biodiverse country with habitats ranging from the arid plains of the Pacific coastal region in the west to the peaks of the Andes mountains vertically extending from the north to the southeast of the country to the tropical Amazon Basin rainforest in the east with the Amazon river.

Peruvian territory was home to ancient cultures spanning from the Norte Chico civilization in Caral, one of the oldest in the world, to the Inca Empire, the largest state in Pre-Columbian America. The Spanish Empire conquered the region in the 16th century and established a Viceroyalty with its capital in Lima, which included most of its South American colonies. Ideas of political autonomy later spread throughout Spanish America and Peru gained its independence, which was formally proclaimed in 1821. After the battle of Ayacucho, three years after proclamation, Peru ensured its independence. After achieving independence, the country remained in recession and kept a low military profile until an economic rise based on the extraction of raw and maritime materials struck the country, which ended shortly before the war of the Pacific. Subsequently, the country has undergone changes in government from oligarchic to democratic systems. Peru has gone through periods of political unrest and internal conflict as well as periods of stability and economic upswing.

The Peruvian population, estimated at 30.4 million, is multiethnic, including Amerindians, Europeans, Africans andAsians. The main spoken language is Spanish, although a significant number of Peruvians speak Quechua or other native languages. This mixture of cultural traditions has resulted in a wide diversity of expressions in fields such as art, cuisine, literature, and music.

But adversities sometime changes our lives, may be a lot better if we are the victims. I hope many of you have an ability to put your selves in the shoes of your beloved ones. You are just a step away to love a soul who means nothing to you.

Every time when nature hits at us with Tsunami like disasters, we share a compassion for our fellow living beings. But I wonder why we are still having the culture of war and hatred. We seek so many reasons to justify why we should hate and kill another human. But why not once, just once we seek a reason to love one another?

One masterpiece movie is ” Schindler’s List ” You want feel what is the crap I am talking about, the so called Love for an unknown soul? Watch this movie once. You will understand it.

If you don’t cry watching this movie, then I doubt your nature as human being. Many rich people are there who could do a lot, but they won’t do. Because they are selfish.

In this true story. Even this man, Oscar Schindler was known a selfish business man who lived in Germany, during second world war. But he changes his character completely and becomes a saviour. You can watch the movie to understand the depth. He values life of humans more than his car and his pen could have saved 2 more persons…

Now a days there are people who adores to have a posh life, that’s no problem, but do a little to someone who may die if they do not have food for one more day. Yes there are such people in your neighbourhood, they are in your country.

Documentary : The Creation of Dog

Many scientists believe that humans adopted orphaned wolf cubs and nursed them alongside human babies. Once these early adoptees started breeding among themselves, a new generation of tame “wolf-like” domestic animals would result which would, over generations of time, become more dog-like.

The origin of the domestic dog (Canis lupus familiaris) began with the domestication of the Grey Wolf(Canis lupus) tens of thousands of years ago. Genetic and archaeological evidence shows that humans domesticated wolves on more than one occasion, with the present lineage of C. l. familiaris arising at the latest 15,000 years ago as evidenced by the Bonn-Oberkassel site and possibly as early as 33,000 years ago as evidenced by the mtDNA testing on a paleolithic dog‘s remains from the Razboinichya Cave (Altai Mountains).
